History

Charland & Séguin, formerly known as Hamel & Associés, attorneys, is a group of lawyers that has been practicing in Montreal North for more than 25 years.

Until November 2001, when Carole Hallée was appointed as Judge to the Superior Court of Quebec, the firm operated under the name Hallée, Hamel, Attorneys. In June 2006, Yves Hamel was appointed as Judge to the Court of Quebec, and the firm proceeded with its operations under the governance of Mrs. Sylvie Séguin, senior attorney of the firm, and merged with Mr. Marc Charland’s law practice.

Since Sylvie Séguin was appointed administrative judge to the Régie du bâtiment, the office moved to Laval and is currently known as Charland Attorney.
